Dear Parents and Carers,
As I come to the end of my time at Loirston School I would like to take this opportunity to thank those of you who have supported me during my time here. The journey has been one that I will look back on with a sense of pride. It has been a pleasure to have ‘looked after’ your school.
The pupils have been excellent to work with and a credit to both you and the school. Almost all of the children are happy to come to Loirston School and have a very positive outlook and a passion for education. Loirston School pupils are proud of their school and I wish them all well with their future choices.
The staff have worked extremely hard during my time here and have achieved a huge amount. They have been proactive in moving the school forward and have done so with rigor and commitment.
As the school continues on its journey I wish you all the very best and I will look forward to hearing how the journey continues to shape the outcome of what I believe is a good school.
There will an update on the blog referring to some of the things we have moved forward over the last few months.
The HMIe will return to Loirston School on Monday 4th June 2018 and their team will be with us for two days. You will be advised of the outcome of their visit in due course.
