Well done to Souterhead (Purple coloured bands) who are the final House Point Prize winners this year. They will be getting their prize on Monday 26th June in the afternoon. The children can come wearing their own clothes for the day and will be taken outside for a number of activities and some snacks in the afternoon. Fingers crossed for nice weather!
As previously mentioned we are running an internet safety week 8th-12th May.
The parents information evening date is still to be confirmed for a later date in May. Details will follow as soon as the date is confirmed.
On Thursday 11th May at 2pm there will be a technology café running in the community lounge where some P7’s will be on hand to answer any questions about how to use Smart phones, tablets, laptops and various computer programmes. There will also be a variety of materials to read and look at relating to keeping children safe online. The P7’s will also be on hand to offer advice and share what they have been learning about ways to stay safe online. We would like to open this event up to anyone in the community of all ages who wish to come. There will be tea, coffee, biscuits and friendly chat.
We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible and please feel free to spread the word of the café throughout the community.

A Groupcall went out today as a reminder to top up your child’s Accord Card before 16th January as this is when the cashless catering system will start in school. The information to do this is on the letter which was sent to you by the Accord Office. If you can not find this letter please call the school office as they have copies of these letters. Money for milkshakes and juice can also be added to these cards. If you have any unused dinner tickets these can be handed in to the kitchen to be credited to your child’s account. Please make sure they are in a clearly marked envelope with you child’s name and class on it.
Well done to Black Cove who are the house point winners. Tomorrow afternoon (Wednesday) they will have their reward time in the hall. We will have a range of activities chosen by the children and run by all the house captains set up as well as a few snacks and treats to enjoy. The children in Black Cove can come in normal clothes for the whole day and bring along some suitable music too if they wish. I’m sure they’ll have a lovely afternoon. Well done Black Cove!
