Pupils in Primary 3/4 and 4 should remember to bring running clothing such as tracksuit bottoms, trainers and a rain jacket on Monday afternoon for their outdoor running activity.
Primary 4 pupils will be given a username and password for Superclubsplus over the next couple of weeks. This is a very safe online environment, which can be accessed at school and at home. Pupils can learn a wide variety of ICT skills including how to conduct themselves safely online. More information for parents is available at http://www.superclubsplus.com/i/parents.
Please contact me at school if you have any questions or concerns.

Cove Rangers- Free Admission Offer
In June 2008 Primary 3 and Primary 3C attended Cove Rangers’ Allan Park for a tour of the facilities. This was linked to a class topic on their local community.
The visit was organised and lead by Jim Rust who mentioned to the pupils he was keen for them to return with their parents as his guest to a Highland League match to support Cove Rangers as the current Highland League Champions.
Jim has been in contact and I am now in a position to offer you a fantastic invitation!
Your child is entitled to one free children’s ticket and one free adult ticket for
Cove Rangers v. Rothes on Saturday 4th October 2008. Gates open at 2.40pm with the match starting at 3.00pm. Further tickets can be purchased at the gate.
This is a very generous offer from Jim Rust and Cove Rangers. In order to provide Jim with numbers requiring tickets, I would be grateful if you could complete the slip below and return it to me by Friday 26th September 2008.
I hope to see you at the match!

RECORDER TUITION FOR P4 PUPILS
Part of the 5-14 Guidelines for music, issued by the Scottish Office, states that at Level B it is appropriate to learn a musical instrument and Mrs. Brockley, music specialist, undertakes to teach recorder to all our P4 and P5 pupils.
As a result of this we ask parents to support this part of the curriculum by providing their child with a recorder. These cost between £6 and £12 in shops but, by buying in bulk, school can buy them and sell to you for £5.
Some children may already have a recorder at home and Mrs. Brockley will be pleased to advise whether or not it is suitable.
Children will be asked to do some practising at home – a few minutes at a time, two or three times a week.
The majority of children enjoy this experience and they will have the opportunity to continue in a recorder group in future years.
Please complete and return the attached slip by 21st January 2008.
Please tick as appropriate:-
I require to buy a recorder from school and enclose £5
I do not require to buy a recorder from school
