Due to the Christmas assembly being held on Thursday it would be appreciated if all children in P5-P7 could wear their school uniform for the morning and they can change into their clothes for the disco at lunchtime. Thank you.
Football trials will be held on Monday 13th June 2011 from 7.00 – 8.30 on the field.
This is open to current P5 & 6 pupils who wish to try out for next session’s team.
Please come with football boots if possible.

Unfortunately, due to weather conditions, the above match has been cancelled.
We will keep you updated on further matches.
HAITI EARTHQUAKE DISASTER
You will be aware of the recent earthquake in Haiti.
Primary 5A are organising an event to raise money to send a Shelter Box to a family who have lost their home in Haiti. (Please see http://shelterbox.org).
On Monday 25th January 2010, we would ask that your child be allowed to wear red and/or blue clothes to school as these colours reflect the national flag of Haiti.
If your child participates, we ask for a donation of £1 (or more if you can) towards the cost of buying a Shelter Box.
Your donations will be very much appreciated.
Best wishes from Primary 5A.
Primaries 5A and 5B, Mrs Dunbar and Mrs Snedden’s Classes, will be going to Satrosphere Science Centre on Tuesday 22nd September as part of their environmental studies. They will be looking at “Colour and Light” and studying the properties and uses of energy.
They will leave school at 9.15 am and travel by coach to Satrosphere and return to school by 12.30pm.
As the children will be out over lunchtime, they should bring a packed lunch with them on the day and if they are entitled to Free School Meals, one will be provided for them. The children may also bring a small snack with them (no fizzy drinks please).
This trip is being funded by Satrophere and Aberdeen City Council therefore we are not asking for a contribution towards the trip.
We are looking for adult helpers for the trip so if you are available please indicate this on the permission slip which will be issued to parents/ carers.
Insurance position for pupils – Parents should be aware of details contained in the School Information Booklet which states that pupils are not covered by Council insurance for injury, damage to property or personal loss unless negligence can be proved. If parents wish to take out personal cover for their children at very reasonable cost (which covers them for 24 hours of every day in the year) they can contact the Headteacher who has information available.
