For both Parents’ Evening sessions there will be a number of things going on in the school hall. Please come along and have a look.
Along with the Book Fayre there will be some information about Home Learning, how we communicate with parents at Loirston, consultation on the Anti-Bullying Policy and lost property. We are also going to have some second hand uniforms available for parents who wish to swap some clothes their child has out grown for another size or for a small donation. Some of our P7 pupils will be on hand with iPads to help parents’ signed up for some of the communication tools we use.
There will also be a Parent Council Cafe on Thursday 14th November during the Parents’ Evening session.
On Friday 15th November pupils can add spots or something yellow to their school uniform for Children In Need. This could be Pudsey ears, t-shirt, socks or other accessories. There will also be an opportunity for each class to play some games and activities organised by our P7s. There will be no individual cost for these games and activities but pupils are welcome to bring a small donation for Children In Need.
The latest Additional Challenges for Home Learning can be found on the school website.
We are looking for local businesses who would like to support the school by sponsoring a month of our school calendar. We only have a few months left and these will be allocated on a first come first served basis at the price of £30. If interested please email the school on email@example.com and mark it for the attention on Katrina Hidson.
Can any agenda items for the upcoming Parent Council meeting on 6th November be sent to the Parent Council email Parent Council firstname.lastname@example.org or the Parent Council Facebook page by 30th October.
