What a super day with the parade and football. The children were a credit to themselves and the school. A big thank you to the parents and Mrs McPhee for their support today.
All ready and excited for the Celebrate Aberdeen Parade.
Just a reminder that all pupils, if they wish, have until Friday 30th August to raise as much money as they can by doing jobs for family and friends.
Please can all money raised be sent to school clearly labelled with your child’s name by Friday 30th August.

Mrs Hidson and The Parent Council Fundraising Committee
The new term is about to start at Loirston School and we look forward to welcoming the pupils tomorrow..
I would like to bring your attention to some important date changes that Aberdeen City Council have informed us of.
The date of the May Day holiday in 2020 has been changed from Monday 4 to Friday 8 May 2020 to allow commemoration of the 75th anniversary of VE Day.
To minimise disruption to learning and teaching and to family life, it has also been decided to move the In Service Day from Tuesday 5 to Thursday 7 May, 2020. The In Service Day will therefore remain adjacent to the May Day holiday.
We hope that this does not cause you too much inconvenience.
Acting Head Teacher
We are looking forward to welcoming back all the pupils and hope they have all enjoyed their summer holidays.
On Saturday some of our pupils will be taking part in the Celebrate Aberdeen Parade and a football tournament at the Marischal College Quad as part of our partnership with AFCCT. We still have 6 spaces available if any more pupild are interested. Please leave a message or send in a note for Mrs Hidson. Letters will be going home tomorrow with further information for those who returned their slip before summer.
