Unfortunately there weren’t as many parents as anticipated last week at the NSPCC Parents Online Safety Workshop.
Alex from NSPCC kindly sent a summary of the Workshop he ran. It is full of very useful information and links.

Letter to parents and carers NSPCC
A reminder that the children in P1/2, P1B and P2 should bring a waterproof jacket and suitable footwear for their Ranger workshops in the wildlife garden.
Dear Parents/ Carers,
Having inspected our field areas today it will not be possible to go ahead with our sports day tomorrow due to the very wet ground conditions.
Therefore, we will now plan to go ahead on Friday 31st May weather permitting.
With the nice weather finally here, for now anyway, the children are spending a lot more time outdoors in the sun. We ask that parents ensure their child comes to school wearing sun cream for the day, with a water bottle and a hat too if they wish.
There will be a short parents information evening for any P6 parents who wish to hear from Jill Rattray the school nurse about the planned ‘Living and Growing’ input for this year. It will take place in the Community Lounge on Tuesday 21st May 6.00-6.30pm
