Cycling in the Playground

We would like to remind all parents and carers that their children must not cycle in the school playground either during, at the start or at the end of the school day. It has come to our attention that some pupils are doing this. Those pupils have been spoken to. It is an extremely dangerous practice and against the school rules on the grounds of health and safety. We appreciate your support in this.

Important Reminders

Some important reminders for this week:-

Tomorrow is our Wear Your Stripes Day where children can dress down in anything stripy they may have, if they wish. THERE IS NO DONATION REQUIRED. The sole purpose is to raise awareness of Road Safety. The pupils may not be as aware of the event as they should be as we were unable to do our Road Safety Assembly today due to technical difficulties. We are hoping to manage this tomorrow.

On Thursday and Friday this week, school is closed to pupils as staff engage in a range of school improvement Activities including reviewing and developing our Ant-Bullying Policy and undergoing training in delivering effective and consistent feedback to our pupils.

If any parent/ carer was unable to complete our anti-bullying survey on the Parents’ Evenings recently and would like to do so, please contact the school and we will email it out to you. We will publish the results of the survey soon.

On Saturday morning we are having our annual Christmas Fayre organised by our hardworking Parent Council. Please come along and support us. It is always a nice way to kick off the festive season. You can also purchase/ order our School Calendar as well as many other festive goods.

More information regarding Christmas Arrangements will come out to you in the next newsletter around the end of this week.
